In yet another horrific incident of cold-blooded murder, a man in Bagalkot district of India's Karnataka state allegedly killed his father, chopped his body into 32 parts, and throw them in an open borewell, police told Indian media on Tuesday.
On December 6, Vithala Kulali, 20, allegedly murdered his abusive father, Parashuram Kulali, 53. It happened in a fit of rage after the son was unable to bear his father's beating and picked up an iron rod and killed him.
The police also shared that the case appears to be a reprise of the Shradha Walkar murder case, in which the girl's live-in partner Aftab Poonawala chopped her body into 35 pieces, and kept them in a refrigerator before dumping in different forest areas of Delhi-NCR.

Police revealed that Kulali dismembered Parashuram's body into 32 pieces and disposed of the parts in an open borewell of their own farm located near the Mantur bypass on the outskirts of Mudhol, a city in Bagalkot district.
When locals and passersby complained about the foul smell coming from the borewell, they informed the police who retrieved Parashuram's body parts using earthmovers and sent remains for post-mortem.
Suspecting Kulali's involvement in his father's murder, the police interrogated him and he purportedly confessed to his crime.
Kulali has been arrested and sent to judicial custody.
