A shocking video of a woman assaulting her domestic help in a posh locality in Noida city in India's Uttar Pradesh state has enraged netizens, who are now demanding strict action be initiated against her.
In the CCTV footage, which has gone viral on social media, a woman identified as Shefali Koul can be seen dragging her maid from the elevator by pulling her hands and hair. The maid tries to hold onto the corner of the elevator and escape from her clutches.
A police case has been filed and local law enforcement has booked the woman for assaulting her housemaid.
Meanwhile, Koul alleged that her domestic help had stolen some articles from her house and spiked her meal with sleeping pills.
