A hair-raising viral video shows a group of tourists escaping unhurt after they were chased by a rhinoceros while on a jeep tour of India's Kaziranga National Park in Assam state.
The angry rhinoceros reportedly chased the convoy for about 3 km before disappearing into the jungle.
In a video captured by one of the tourists, the safari jeep can be seen traveling through a narrow track when the rhino suddenly emerged from the bushes and started running after the vehicle.
Some tourists can be heard screaming and telling the driver in Hindi: "speed up, speed up!"
A similar incident was recently reported from Manas National Park, also in Assam state.
In Manas, the tourists traveling on the safari jeep came in close contact with the chasing rhino but eventually got rescued after the driver speed up and left the animal behind.
Both Kaziranga and Manas National Parks are home to thousands of rhinos. Rhino populations are reportedly increasing.
