Mumbai-based Dream Sports runs a fantasy sports platform named Dream 11, where users can create virtual teams of real-life players of multiple sports and earn points based on their performance.
It also holds a strong stance on a positive work environment: the company has reportedly introduced a fine of INR 100,000 ($1,226) for employees who dare to disturb their colleagues during their days off.

Right to 'UNPLUG'

Dream11 believes that employees are eligible to take at least a week off annually, during which they are allowed to ignore any work-related emails or calls. The company calls it an “UNPLUG” period.
According to Bhavit Sheth, co-founder of the fantasy sports platform, so far this system has proven effective.

"Dream11 believes that this uninterrupted time allows Dreamsters (employees of Dream11) to relax, recharge and come back to work ready to give their best," he told an Indian TV channel.

One employee also shared with local media that allowing colleagues to cut off from all company systems and groups is “one of the best perks one can get.“
He also praised the initiative, since its allows employees to spend some "quality time" with their loved ones and relax on a distant vacation where they may not necessarily have network services working properly - like, for instance, in the mountains.
