On January 25, Moscow and New Delhi held a video conference on the current state of Indo-Russian relations, which over decades grew into what is now known as the Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership.
Last year, Russia became the third-largest oil supplier to India. Crude imports hit a record high in October when Moscow became New Delhi's top monthly oil supplier. But apart from the energy sector, cooperation thrived in other areas too, especially in the defense sector.
Indian and Russian experts on Wednesday discussed what has changed in the interaction between the two partners, how various areas of their bilateral partnership are developing, and how Russian-Indian cooperation is progressing in mulitarelal organizations, such as BRICS, the SCO, the UN and others.
