In yet another feat in Indian space technology, a total of 150 satellites made by school students from across India were successfully launched on Sunday as part of A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Satellite Launch Vehicle Mission 2023.
The rocket launch took place in the morning at Pattipolam village in Chengalpattu district, Tamil Nadu, and was a joint collaboration between the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam International Foundation, the Martin Foundation and Space Zone India.
Calling it a proud moment for India, Telangana Governor Tamilsai Soundararajan took to Twitter and shared a glimpse of the launch.
Honing the skills of aspiring young scientists, the mission taught students from Grades six to twelve about satellite technology, and also gave them hands-on experience with their project.
