The Russian Ministry of Defence has shared footage of the Msta-S crews performing a series of shots from closed firing positions on known targets, allowing the enemy to be located and thus trigger return fire.
Artillery reconnaissance radar systems then quickly detect enemy artillery, and the Giatsint-S crews swiftly eliminate the targets at a range of more than 30 km.
This long range makes it possible to effectively carry out counter-battery firing and effectively destroy the adversary’s military equipment.
The combat crews use UAVs to adjust the accuracy of artillery fire and confirm the destruction of a target.
