When you take “fresh food” a little bit too seriously: a Japanese man was horrified to find a live frog in his takeaway udon.
The man shared this cuisine horror on Twitter, attaching a video of his soup – in fact, already half-eaten, with the little green critter wriggling in the broth.
The next day, the noodle chain where the frog was served along with the soup, issued an apology for "causing great trouble and worry". They claimed the frog possibly was mixed in at the vegetable-processing factory and vowed to boost checks at every factory handling raw vegetables.
