Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the country's first-ever National Training Conclave for civil servants in Delhi on Sunday.
Approximately 1,500 representatives from centers providing education in civil services took part in the conclave. According to the Prime Minister's Office's statement, the event was organized in the backdrop of Modi's intention to bolster the efficiency of civil services institutions.
The statement added that the PM "advocated for improvement and advancement of the governance processes and the policy implementation."
"This diverse gathering will foster the exchange of ideas, identify the challenges being faced and opportunities available, and generate actionable solutions and comprehensive strategies for capacity building," the report pointed out.
The conclave included eight panel discussions focusing on civil service issues and the system of education in this sphere, such as faculty development, training impact assessment and content digitization.
