The first French long-range SCALP missiles are already on the territory of Ukraine, Agence France-Presse (AFP) reported on Tuesday, citing a military source.
According to the source, the first missiles were delivered simultaneously with Macron's announcement, the news agency reported.
The Kremlin has termed France's decision to transfer long-range missiles to Ukraine erroneous, taking into account the consequences for Kiev.
"Of course, it remains to be clarified and determined exactly what radius we are talking about. This, from our point of view, is an erroneous decision, fraught with consequences for the Ukrainian side, because, naturally, it will force us to take countermeasures," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told a briefing on Tuesday, following Macron's announcement.
