At least six people lost their lives and two were brutally injured in a fatal road accident that occurred on Tuesday morning in Ghaziabad on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway where a car crashed with a bus.
The accident was so gruesome that the dead bodies were trapped in the car and the metal frame of the vehicle had to be cut open so that they could be pulled out.
Additional DCP (Traffic) Ramanand Kushwaha told Indian media that the road accident occurred at around 6 am.
"It was the fault of the driver, he was coming from the wrong direction all the way from Delhi. He has been nabbed. The occupants of the car were members of the same family. There were no students on the bus..." Kushwaha said.
A huge crowd of people was also seen on the spot after the accident.
