Troubles continue to persist in Delhi as the city once again was battered with heavy downpours on Sunday, causing waterlogging on roads and low-lying areas along with traffic congestion.
Netizens took to social media and shared their woes, as they posted videos of them being struck in traffic and passing through water-logging areas.
Several low-lying areas in Delhi remained flooded due to the continuous rains in the city raising the water level of the Yamuna river to dangerous level.
As the disaster management team relocated people to a secure area, the Delhi government had instructed schools and colleges to remain shut until Sunday and also recommended offices to allow people to work from home.
As per reports, the relentless monsoon rains and landslides in Northern India have resulted in the tragic loss of at least 145 dead, with several individuals reported missing.
