During his visit to Ladakh, Congress parliamentarian Rahul Gandhi on Saturday was seen riding a motorbike to Pangong Lake.
Sharing a photo on Instagram, Gandhi wrote: “On our way to Pangong lake, which my father used to say, is one of the most beautiful places in the world.”
According to media reports, he is going to Pangong Lake to celebrate the birthday of his father, the late ex-Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, which is on August 20.
Rahul Gandhi was seen riding the KTM 390 Adventure. It is a 373 cc bike which generates maximum power of 32 kW and torque of 37 Nm. The KTM 390 can reach a top speed of around 155 kmph.
Congress also shared photos of its former president on X (formerly known as Twitter) and captioned “Upwards and onwards - Unstoppable!”

Sharing a video which has glimpse of Rahul Gandhi’s ride towards Pangong Lake, Congress captioned it “Journey of Love”.
Notably, Rahul Gandhi had earlier said that he owns a KTM 390 bike but his security doesn't allow him to ride it. He gave the statement when he visited a motorbike repair shop in New Delhi.
This is Rahul Gandhi’s first visit to Ladakh. He had visited Jammu when his "Bharat Jodo Yatra" (Unite India Campaign) ended on January 30, 2023.
