Russian forces have regularly thwarted Ukraine's attempts to conduct a terrorist attack since the Kiev regime launched its so-called "counter-offensive".

The Russian air defense systems have shot down two Ukrainian drones over Russia’s Tula Region, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Tuesday.

"This morning, an attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack on objects on the territory of the Russian Federation using two aircraft-type drones was thwarted. The unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed by air defense forces on duty over the territory of Tula Region," the ministry said.

The Russian air defense system also destroyed a Ukrainian aircraft-type drone over Belgorod Region on Monday night, the ministry said on Tuesday.

"On August 28, at about 23:00 Moscow time [01:30 IST], another attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack on objects in the Russian Federation using an aircraft-type drone was thwarted. The unmanned aerial vehicle was destroyed by air defense forces on duty over the territory of the Belgorod Region," the ministry said.
