The Ukrainian armed forces' overnight attack on the city of Sevastopol in Crimea wounded 24 people, Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev said early Wednesday, citing preliminary information, adding that there was no threat to civilian facilities due to the fire at the Sevastopol Shipyard (Sevmorzavod).

"I am currently at the site of the fire at the southern site of Sevmorzavod. All operational services are working on site; there is no danger to civilian facilities in the city. According to preliminary information, a total of 24 people were injured as a result of the attack, four of them are in moderate condition. All necessary assistance to the victims is being provided," the governor said on Telegram.

Ukraine carried out strikes against a shipyard in Sevastopol using ten cruise missiles and attacked ships of Russia's Black Sea Fleet using drone boats, with Russia's air defense destroying seven rockets and the Vasily Bykov patrol ship destroying all drone boats, Russian Defense Ministry said.

"Tonight, the Ukrainian armed forces conducted a strike against the shipyard named after Ordzhonikidze in the city of Sevastopol using ten cruise missiles and attacked a group of ships of the Black Sea Fleet during the movement in the sea using drone boats. Air defenses destroyed seven cruise missiles, and the Vasily Bykov patrol ship destroyed all drone boats. As a result of cruise missiles hitting the shipyard, two ships, which were in repair, were damaged," the ministry said.
