Attacks By Ukrainian Drone Boats Repelled in Russia's Sevastopol

Ukrainian drones attacking cities near the special military operation zone in Russia are consistently being countered by Russian defense and anti-aircraft systems.

An attack by two drone boats is being repelled in Sevastopol, city governor Mikhail Razvozhayev said.
“Preliminary information: an attack by two unmanned sea boats is being repelled,” Razvozhaev wrote on Telegram.

Ukrainian Drones Destroyed over Belgorod Region

The Russian Defense Ministry has said that its air defense systems had destroyed a Ukrainian drone over Belgorod Region.

"On October 5, about 10 p.m. Moscow time [19:00 GMT], an attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack by means of an aircraft-type drone against facilities on the territory of the Russian Federation was foiled. Air defense systems on duty destroyed Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles over the territory of the Belgorod region," the ministry said in a statement on Thusday.

Later in the day, Belgorod Region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said that air defense systems had downed six Ukrainian drones over the city of Belgorod and the region.

"Our air defense system had downed six drones over Belgorod and Belgorod Region. Preliminary, there are no casualties. Response teams are clarifying information about the consequences on the ground," Gladkov wrote in Telegram.

Ukraine has repeatedly attacked Russia's Bryansk, Belgorod and Kursk regions with drones over the past few months. On wednesday alone, Russian air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 31 Ukrainian drones over the country's territory overnight.
