With less than a month to go for the Chhattisgarh state assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) released its final list of candidates on Wednesday.
In the latest list, the party has put forward Rajesh Agarwal from Ambikapur constituency against Deputy State Chief TS Singh Deo.
Apart from this, the other candidates include Sushant Shukla from Beltara, Dhaniram Dhivan from Kasdo and Dipesh Sahu from Bemetara.
With this, the party has declared all the 90 candidates for the upcoming state assembly polls.

The party's first list was released on 17 August, pitting MP Vijay Bhagel against state chief minister Bhupesh Baghel in Patan in Durg district.

The party's second list had 64 candidates, while the third list had only one name. The party had also released a list of star campaigners, which included 40 prominent politicians. These politicians will campaign for the party in the first phase of the elections.
The BJP is making every effort to wrest the state assembly elections from the Congress, as these are seen as a test before the 2024 general elections.
