Russia has received proposals from the United States on resuming the dialogue on strategic stability and arms control, they are currently being studied, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said on Wednesday.
"[Russia received the US proposals] in the form of an informal aide-memoire. We are now analyzing them in an interdepartmental format," Ryabkov told reporters.
The United States proposed to resume the dialogue on strategic stability and arms control on a systematic basis and to do this in isolation from everything that is happening, but Moscow is not ready for this, he said.
"There are no elements of novelty. This is a well-known position, it is just brought together. We are studying in a calm manner and will respond to the Americans at the appropriate time," the diplomat added.
