Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has greeted the people of six Indian states on formation day.
On Social Media, Modi congratulated the people of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Kerala, and Haryana.
Andhra Pradesh

"Greetings to my sisters and brothers of Andhra Pradesh on the State Foundation Day. The people of AP are known for their skill, determination and tenacity. That is why they are successful in many fields. May the people of AP always be happy, healthy and successful," he said in his message posted on X on Wednesday morning.

Kerala
Kerala, where the day is celebrated as 'Kerala Piravi Day', is admired for its picturesque environment and the hardworking nature of its people, the Prime Minister said, wishing them success in their endeavours.

"Kerala Piravi day greetings to the people of Kerala. Kerala is widely admired for its picturesque environment and the hardworking nature of its people. May the people of Kerala succeed in their various endeavours," wrote Modi, who is known to be an active person on various social media platforms.

Karnataka
He mentioned that Karnataka Rajyotsava, which commemorates the establishment of the state, has been a remarkable celebration thanks to the people's exceptional enthusiasm for innovation.

"Best wishes on the special occasion of Karnataka Rajyotsava. Karnataka has distinguished itself through the innovative zeal of its people. The state is at the forefront of excellence in research and entrepreneurship. May Karnataka scale newer heights of success in the times to come," added the Chief Minister, who faces elections early next year.

Modi also extended similar wishes to Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Haryana, praising each state for its uniqueness and special features.
In 1956, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, and Kerala emerged as new states, formed based on linguistic considerations. Haryana was formed in 1966 while Chhattisgarh was carved out of Madhya Pradesh in 2000.
