Over 200,000 Illegal Afghans Return Home: Pakistani FM

About 4.4 million Afghans have moved to Pakistan because of the wars. Since November 1, they are being sent back.

Pakistani Foreign Ministry on Thursday said it had taken steps for a "safe and dignified" deportation of illegal foreigners and over 200,000 such people had returned to their homeland since the October 31 deadline.
According to the FM, at least 228,574 illegal Afghan citizens has been repatriated so far.
The evacuation of illegal Afghan immigrants continuous since the October 31 deadline, Pakistani Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said during a media interaction.
Mumtaz also stated that "transit camps equipped with proper facilities have been set up in various districts."
She revealed every day thousands of Afghan citizens return to their homeland through the Torkham and Chaman borders.
