Modi Inaugurates Oil, Gas, Aviation, and Other Projects in Tamil Nadu

Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stones for several development projects worth a total of $2.3 billion (INR 200 billion) in Tamil Nadu’s Tiruchirapalli district on Tuesday.
Modi laid the foundation stone for several projects, including aviation, oil and gas, roads, railways, and higher education. He also inaugurated the new terminal building of the Tiruchirappalli International Airport.
While addressing his first public gathering of 2024, Modi said, “I wish that the year 2024 is peaceful and prosperous for everyone". He participated in the 38th Convocation Ceremony of Bharathidasan University, along with state chief MK Stalin and Governor RN Ravi.

Indian Youth Creating Brave New World: PM Modi

Applauding Indian youth's efforts and emerging startups in the country, Modi said, “Indian youth have created a brave new world. The Indian scientists are on the world map through missions like Chandrayaan, and our innovators took the number of patents from around 4,000 in 2014 to almost 50,000 now".

“India’s humanity scholars are showcasing the India story to the world like never before. Also, the nation’s musicians and artists were continuously bringing international awards for the country”, he said.

Modi also shared that the number of patents in India has increased from 4,000 in 2014 to almost 50,000 now.
