Twins Born In Different Years Due to 40 Min Arrival Gap On New Year's

In an unusual turn of events, twins born 40 minutes apart, one on New Year's Eve and the other on New Year's Day, will have completely different birthdays, birth months & even birth years.

Billy Humphrey and his wife Eve, a couple from New Jersey, joyously welcomed twin sons who were born on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, making them born in different years - 2023 and 2024.
Eve was expected to arrive at the end of January, but fate had other plans - her water broke on New Year's Eve, a day that coincided with Billy's birthday.
Their first son, Ezra, was born at 11.48pm on New Year's Eve and now shares a birthday with his father, Billy. However, their second son, Ezekiel, was born at 12.28am on New Year's Day.
In addition to the twins, they have a three-year-old older brother named Hezekiah, who celebrated his third birthday on 3 January.
Delighted to have twins in two different years, Eve humorously remarked that it would be quite a challenge to convince people, especially when it came to official paperwork, that the twins were born not only on different days but in different years.
