The Indian Embassy in Mexico, together with the Indian diaspora, marked the historic inauguration of the first Lord Ram temple in Queretaro city in Mexico.
After a glorious 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony officiated by an American priest, the temple was unveiled.
Songs and hymns in praise of Lord Ram filled the air by people from the Indian diaspora as they worshipped the idols of Gods and Goddesses imported from India.
Mexico is home to a small Hindu community that includes Mexican citizens as well as immigrants from India and other countries, estimated to be between 20,000 and 50,000 people.
Despite being a minority in Mexico, the Hindu community has managed to establish several temples and organizations throughout the country.
