India is on the cusp of a technological revolution, according to Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar.
Dhankhar was speaking at a function at Delhi University's Hindu College and said this point of transition is shaping all facets of India's economy and people's lives, it said.
“...but we must remain responsible and cautious in our usage of disruptive technology,” he was quoted as saying in the reports.
During the function, he laid the foundation stone of the boys' hostel on the college campus as part of its 125th anniversary celebrations.
The Vice President also awarded medals to the meritorious students of the college and released a book on the occasion, the release added.
