Russian Ambassador to Pakistan Debunks Rumors of Arms Supplies to Ukraine

Russia's newly appointed ambassador to Pakistan denied reports that Pakistan is supplying Ukraine with weapons via third parties, adding that he hopes Islamabad maintains its current policy on the issue during a press briefing in the Pakistani capital on Thursday.

Russian Ambassador to Pakistan Albert Khorev conducted a briefing and responded to inquiries from Pakistani media regarding the Ukraine conflict on Thursday to mark the tenth anniversary of the Euromaidan coup.
Khorev debunked media reports regarding the supply of Pakistani arms to Ukraine via a third party, claiming that they have not been verified. He emphasized that the strong ties between Islamabad and Moscow might not be fully acknowledged by the West, while talking to GeoNews.
Moreover, he also expressed that Moscow appreciates Pakistan's independent stance on the Ukraine conflict.
Pakistani President Arif Alvi met with the newly appointed ambassador and expressed his desire to further bolster bilateral relations with Moscow in the fields of trade, economy, tourism, and culture.
