India's defense got a major uplift as the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), in collaboration with Mahindra Defence, unveiled an advanced Wheeled Armoured Platform at the Defence Expo held in Maharashtra state's Pune city.
This vehicle is a true marvel of technology, designed to excel in chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) defense, as well as serve as both an inventory combat vehicle (ICV) and an armored personnel carrier (APC).
At the Expo, DRDO also showcased the various rockets utilized by the Pinaaka multi-barrel rocket launcher system, encompassing guided, extended range, and Pinaka-Mark 1 rockets.
The Indian Air Force's Made in India Samar-II and Akash surface-to-air weapon systems are also being showcased at the Defence Expo till 26 February.
