In an unusual approach to combat drone and enemy attacks, the Indian Army's special force team trained and deployed two raptor birds and combat assault dogs during a military training operation.
In a video, two raptor birds, identified as Arjun and Deep, and two combat assault dogs, Allan and Zygo, can be seen taking on the small quadcopter enemy drone.
Equipped with a head-mounted RF camera system, these birds intercepted small quadcopters and provided live feed. While, two canine heroes carried out operations to assault, immobilize, and potentially neutralize targets on the command of their handlers.
The army's innovative approach to modern warfare is showcased through the deployment of combat assault dogs alongside raptor birds, harnessing animal instincts and capabilities to enhance ground operations and provide a multi-faceted defense against drone threats.
