India Advises Its Citizens in Israel to Relocate to Safer Locations

The government advisory came in the wake of a missile attack in which an Indian was killed and two others injured in the ongoing war between Israel and the Palestinian movement Hamas.

Narendra Modi's government advised Indian nationals in Israel to "relocate to safe areas" on Tuesday amidst the ongoing Israeli assault on Gaza.

"In view of the prevailing security situation and local safety advisories, all Indians nationals in Israel, especially those working in or visiting border areas in the north and south, are advised to relocate to safe areas within Israel," the Indian Embassy posted on social media site X. "The Embassy remains in touch with the Israeli authorities to ensure the safety of all our nationals."

The warning comes after a citizen from Kerala was killed and two others injured in a missile attack on Monday.
According to reports, the missile was fired from Lebanon and struck an orchard close to the northern border community of Margaliot in Israel.
