Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar Embarks on Three-Day Visit to Singapore

Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar is currently in Singapore for a three-day visit, engaging with various stakeholders. His itinerary includes meetings with the Indian community in Singapore and interactions with prominent corporate leaders.

Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and shared some pictures on X.
"Honored to meet Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong at the Istana. Delivered personal greetings on behalf of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Valued his perspective on the current situation in the world. His positive sentiments on India-Singapore relations will always be a valuable addition to our relations. Has been a source of strength,” Jaishankar wrote on his ex.

Additionally, Minister Jaishankar held discussions with Singapore's Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan, focusing on the progress of bilateral cooperation and exchanging views on key regional issues such as the Indo-Pacific and West Asia.
Furthermore, Minister Jaishankar met with Singapore's Trade and Industry Minister Gan Kim Yong to explore avenues for enhancing trade and collaboration in sectors including semiconductor manufacturing, space technology, green energy, and defense.
The discussions aimed to bolster ties between India and Singapore and pave the way for further cooperation through the India-Singapore Ministerial Round Table.
Along with this, a meeting was held between the Indian Foreign Minister and Singapore's Trade and Industry Minister Gan Kim Yong. During this, both the leaders discussed trade, semiconductor, space, green energy, supply chain and defense. Also, there was talk of taking them forward in the India-Singapore Ministerial Round Table.
Earlier, during a meeting with Singapore's business community, Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar had encouraged its leaders to focus on investment opportunities in India's growing semiconductor manufacturing sector.
