Another American Abrams tank was destroyed near Avdeyevka, according to reports on Russian social media on Thurday. Later into the day, Russia's Ministry of Defense confirmed the news. It was the 5th Abrams tank destroyed by the Russian Army.

Oryol Governor Andrey Klychkov has spoken about the Abrams tank struck near Avdeyevka.

The US-made vehicle was destroyed by military personnel from a special forces brigade that is regularly assisted by the Oryol region. The governor specified that the Abrams was struck near the settlement of Berdychi.
