The Defence Research and Development Organisation has successfully flight-tested the RudraM-II air-to-surface missile from the Indian Air Force's Su-30 MK-I fighter jet off the coast of Odisha, the Indian Ministry of Defence has announced.

Congratulating the DRDO, Indian Air Force and industry experts, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said the successful test was a significant milestone in enhancing the country's defence capabilities.
It has consolidated the role of the RudraM-II system as a force multiplier for the Indian armed forces, Singh said.
The test successfully met all the test objectives and validated the propulsion system and the control and guidance algorithm.
The missile's performance was validated through flight data collected by range tracking instruments such as electro-optical systems, radar and telemetry stations deployed by ITR Chandipur at various locations, including on board the ship.
