The agreement was announced during a visit to India by Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
According to the agency, the volume of supplies will be one million tonnes of LNG annually. It is noted that supplies will mainly be carried out from the new liquefied natural gas plant in Al Ruwais.
In June, the board of directors of ADNOC approved the decision to build an LNG terminal in Al Ruwais with a capacity of 9.6 million tonnes per year. It was later announced that Shell, TotalEnergies, BP and Mitsui would each receive a 10 percent stake in the project.
