Running from February 1 to 9, this year’s World Book Fair is set to be one of the largest and most impressive editions in its history. Having been a significant event in the publishing industry for over 50 years, the fair brings together publishers, authors, and book lovers from around the world.
More than 50 countries are participating, and organizers anticipate hundreds of thousands of visitors throughout the event.
This year, Russia has been chosen as the Guest of Honour, marking a significant moment in Indo-Russian cultural ties. The Russian Pavilion showcases over 1,500 books from various publishing houses, as well as exhibits from institutions such as the Moscow Transport Museum, the Tretyakov Gallery, and the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts.
Beyond the book displays, the fair features a diverse program of discussions, film screenings, author meet-and-greets, and masterclasses, offering a deeper exploration of literature, culture, and history.
