The latest engine for fifth-generation fighter jets will be unveiled for the first time at AeroIndia exhibition, the Rosoboronexport's head, Alexander Mikheev, said on Friday.
"India is Russia's most important strategic partner in the Asia-Pacific region and one of Rosoboronexport's key partners in the world. In the last 20 years alone, from 2005 to 2025, Rosoboronexport has signed contract documents with India worth $50 billion, and the total volume of Russian military products supplied to this country is about $80 billion," Mikheev highlighted.
Russia offers India large-scale projects for joint development and production of military aircraft, helicopters, air defence equipment, armored vehicles and ammunition, he stated.
"We are also ready to discuss the possibility of joint promotion of these products in third countries," Mikheev said in a statement.
Rosoboronexport will organise a unified Russian exposition at the XV International Air Show and Aerospace Exhibition AeroIndia 2025, which will be held from February 10-14 at the Yelahanka Air Force Station in India.
The newest Russian fifth-generation Su-57E fighter jet will be shown at the exhibition for the first time, the statement added.
