Russia Signs $4.5Bln Worth of Defence Contracts in 2025

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russian state arms exporter Rosoboronexport has already signed $4.5 billion worth of contracts with 15 friendly countries since the beginning of 2025, the company's Director General, Alexander Mikheev, said on Thursday.

"The general idea of our exposition [at the International Defence Exhibition-2025 expo] is to show Russia's comprehensive approach to the development and modernisation of all types of weapons, taking into account the experience of modern combat. This factor has already allowed us to sign contracts worth over $4.5 billion with 15 friendly countries in 2025," the company's press service quoted Mikheev as saying.
Abu Dhabi will host the IDEX-2025 international defence expo from February 17 to 21. At the expo, Rosoboronexport is expected to present a large-scale exposition of Russia's newest defence products.
More than 40 Indian companies are also listed as exibhitors at the IDEX-2025, according to the event's website.
