Earlier in February, Russian state arms exporter Rosoboronexport Director General Alexander Mikheev said that Russia was offering India comprehensive development of cooperation on the Su-57E project. In particular, the proposal included the supply of assembled aircraft, the organization of their joint production in India, and assistance in developing an Indian fifth-generation fighter.
"They are considering the issue in any case," Shugaev said on the sidelines of the IDEX 2025 exhibition.
On Friday, US President Donald Trump said that the United States will increase military sales to India starting this year, and will provide F-35 fighter jets to the country.
The United Arab Emirates is hosting the International Defense Exhibition IDEX-2025 from February 17-21.
