The T-90MS tank is equipped with cutting-edge defensive features, including dynamic protection, lattice screens and electronic countermeasures against unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), Rosoboronexport told Sputnik India.
Its composite armour ensures enhanced survivability against attack UAVs, FPV drones, anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs) and rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs).
The tank is also fitted with a new fire control system based on a 'digital onboard' approach, integrated command systems and various other innovative solutions, the company noted.
"This tank offers increased firepower, capable of firing new armour-piercing subcalibre rounds, high-explosive fragmentation shells with remote detonation and guided missiles," Rosboronexport said.
Rosoboronexport said it expects the T-90MS to attract growing interest from both existing clients operating Russian tanks like the T-72 and T-90, as well as new customers looking for reliable and efficient military hardware.
