Russian Army liberates Konstantinopol in Donetsk People's Republic

Russia’s Vostok (East) group of forces took control of the settlement of Konstantinopol in the Donetsk People's Republic, with the Kiev losses in the group's area of operation exceeding 145 servicepeople, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Sunday.

"The units of the Vostok group of forces as a result of active and decisive actions liberated the settlement of Konstantinopol of the Donetsk People's Republic," the statement read.
The Ukrainian forces also lost one armored fighting vehicle, one motor vehicle and three field artillery guns, including one Polish-made Krab self-propelled artillery system, the ministry added.
Russian forces have gained a foothold in Konstantinopol, with Ukrainian forces losing over 50 servicepeople, the ministry said.
The ministry added that artillery units and strike drone teams, including those equipped with munition drop systems, were deployed to support the assault units and target Ukrainian positions.
