The plaque, which celebrates the legacy of Russia's contribution to space exploration, features the portraits of three key figures in the history of space science: Russian philosopher and astronautics theorist Konstantin Tsiolkovsky, renowned engineer and space scientist Sergei Korolev, and Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin, the first human to journey into outer space.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Russian Ambassador to India, Denis Alipov, highlighted the importance of Russia's leadership in the space sector, emphasizing the enduring collaboration between the two nations in this area.
