"They’ve always been very assertive about their global intent — not just reporting events, but presenting Russia’s worldview to the rest of the globe," Rodrigues said.
Rodrigues emphasized that the entry of Sputnik India into the media landscape marked a critical step toward restoring balance in global discourse.
He pointed out that nations like India, Russia and China need to counteract what he views as a skewed portrayal of international affairs by some Western outlets.
Describing Sputnik India’s editorial stance as “realistic” and “truth-driven,” Rodrigues praised the outlet for not shying away from critiquing the West when necessary.
"If America is wrong, then America is wrong. Somebody has the courage to say it and must have it. And I think Sputnik India has been doing that and Sputnik overall has been doing that," Rodrigues said.
