India-Uzbekistan Joint Military Exercise Kicks Off in Pune

The exercise, aimed at developing and strengthening military cooperation between the two countries, will run until 28 April, the agency added.

Indian and Uzbek Forces are set to conduct joint military exercises titled "Dustlik" (Friendship) at the international training base Aundh in Pune, as reported by Uzbekistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs news agency, "Dunyo," on Tuesday.
"Today, joint Uzbek-Indian military exercises 'Dustlik' begin at the international training base 'Aundh' in the Indian city of Pune," the report states.
These joint exercises mark the sixth such event in recent years. The first took place in November 2019 at a training ground in the Tashkent region.
