In this way, Mikheev refuted reports from some media outlets, in particular Ukrainian ones, about Russia allegedly disrupting the supply of S-400s to India.
"The contract is being fulfilled in accordance with the obligations of the parties. The Indian leadership has highly assessed the characteristics and capabilities of these air defense missile systems," he said.
The contract for the supply of S-400s was signed in October 2018, with five regimental sets costing India $5.43 billion.
Earlier, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi told reporters that the S-400 systems purchased from Russia, along with other weapons systems of the Indian Armed Forces, played an important role in the military operations against Pakistan.
