Air defenses destroyed 39 Ukrainian drones over Russian regions at night, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.

"This past night, on June 27, air defense systems on duty destroyed 39 Ukrainian aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles," the ministry said.

It said 19 drones were shot down over the Rostov Region, 13 over the Volgograd Region, four over Crimea, and one over the Belgorod, Bryansk and Samara regions each.
