West Considers Military Supplies to Ukraine 'Sacred Cow' - Russian Official

West considers military supplies to Kiev a "sacred cow" despite victims among civilians and violation of international law, Yulia Zhdanova, the new head of the Russian delegation at the Vienna talks on military security and arms control, has told Sputnik.

"Of course, we clearly record all this within the framework of the military-political dimension of the OSCE. Earlier, we had a very active dialogue on the issue of preventing illegal arms trafficking, the organization was a pioneer in this area. But now Westerners and Ukrainians block all-European meetings on this issue. For them military supplies to Ukraine are a 'sacred cow,' even if they violate international export control rules and mechanisms, and the weapons are used against women, children and for human rights violations," Zhdanova said.
