Another Group of Russian Soldiers Exchanged Under Istanbul Deal

Another group of Russian servicepeople has been returned from the territory controlled by Kiev in accordance with the Istanbul agreements, and a group of Ukrainian armed forces prisoners of war have been transferred in exchange, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Friday.

"On July 4, 2025, in accordance with the Russian-Ukrainian agreements reached on June 2, 2025 in Istanbul, another group of Russian servicepeople was returned from the territory controlled by the Kiev regime. In exchange, a group of prisoners of war of the Ukrainian armed forces was transferred," the ministry said in a statement.
Russian military personnel are currently on the territory of Belarus, where they are receiving the necessary psychological and medical assistance, the statement added.
