Putin Calls China Xi's Idea of Global Governance Timely

"I would particularly note China's initiative on global governance. It seems to me that this is very timely, and importantly, this initiative is aimed at fostering positive cooperation between the countries gathered at the summit in China and our potential partners among those nations that, as of today, are unwilling to declare this partnership," Putin said to journalists following his visit to China.
The Russian president is in China from August 31 to September 3. During his trip, he participated in the SCO summit and held a series of bilateral meetings. Following the summit, trilateral talks were held between Russia, China, and Mongolia, and President Putin also held bilateral talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
