Rostec Delivers New Su-35S Fighters to Russian Armed Forces

Sputnik
The United Aircraft Corporation, part of Russia’s state-owned Rostec, has delivered a new batch of Su-35S fighter jets to the Armed Forces. The aircraft successfully completed both ground and flight factory trials before entering service.
The Su-35 is designed to secure air superiority, including in adverse weather conditions and at long distances from its home base. The jet is considered a transitional platform leading toward fifth-generation combat aircraft.
“Our aircraft manufacturing plants are operating at full capacity, maintaining consistently high production rates for combat aircraft deliveries,” Rostec stated. “The Su-35S combines advanced weaponry, cutting-edge avionics, and exceptional maneuverability, making it a ‘universal soldier’ capable of executing the most challenging missions — from protecting air groups and ground facilities to engaging enemy air and ground targets.”
