"The Federal Security Service of Russia detained a Russian citizen, born in 1980, in Sevastopol, who was carrying out intelligence activities on behalf of the Ukrainian special services," the FSB said in a statement, adding that the detainee collected intelligence data on the locations and routes of movement of personnel and military equipment of the Russian armed forces on the territory of Sevastopol.
The detainee sent representatives of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense photographs of the Black Sea Fleet's ship deployment locations in Sevastopol Bay, which were subsequently used by the Ukrainian armed forces to plan missile attacks. Additionally, while working as a chef at a Sevastopol catering establishment, the woman harbored plans to poison Black Sea Fleet soldiers.
