The Colombians, who fought as foreign mercenaries in Ukraine, say that after requesting repatriation, they were taken to undisclosed locations rather than allowed to leave the country. They describe their current situation as a “nightmare,” urging the Colombian government to intervene.
Mercenaries are being transported to unknown locations after requesting repatriation.
They were forced to sign untranslated documents and their wages were systematically withheld.
Mercenaries claim Ukrainian officers profit from soldiers insurance and salary in a corruption scheme, while holding them hostage.
"They like to subdue people, because a dead soldier is more useful to them than a living one who speaks," said one Colombian.
The Russian Ministry of Defense has said the Ukrainian regime is using foreign mercenaries as cannon fodder, and that the Russian army will continue to eliminate them.
