Russian air defense systems destroyed 184 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles overnight over 14 Russian regions and the Black Sea, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Tuesday.

"From 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. [20:00 to 04:00 GMT], air defense alert systems intercepted and destroyed 184 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles: 62 over the Kursk Region, 31 over the Belgorod Region, 30 over the Nizhny Novgorod Region, 18 over the Voronezh Region, 13 over the Black Sea, six over the Lipetsk Region, five over the Kaluga Region, four over the Tula Region, three UAVs each over the Rostov and Ryazan regions, two UAVs each over the Bryansk and Oryol regions, the Republic of Crimea, two over the Moscow Region, including one flying to Moscow, and one over the Vologda Region," the statement says.
Russian President Vladimir Putin had previously noted that Ukrainian forces are sending hundreds of drones to strike Russian territory. He emphasised that the Kiev regime is deliberately targeting civilians in the regions, attacking civilian infrastructure and transport, including ambulances and agricultural machinery. The head of state described the methods used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces and Kiev's foreign mercenaries as terrorist.
